THE BRIEF: With the COVID-19 pandemic creating struggles and concerns with travel, our learning services team at Trane in Tyler, Texas needed digital a solution to offer our employees, dealers, and recruiters for their ongoing sales calls, training, and recruitments.
THE CHALLENGE: Creating an exciting and engaging virtual tour training course of our entire Tyler, Texas plant.
THE SOLUTION: Maps of the plant floor were designed as an aerial view so that the user could get a clear view of everything going on in the plant without being overwhelmed. The style of the maps is simplified, yet fun, showing some of the workers who ride bikes around the plant and clearly flagging the areas that a user can interact with. Footage of the plant, as well as interviews with product managers, were assembled into short and concise 3-5 minute videos packed with key information. Videos were created for each section of the plant, providing the user with a full walkthrough of a product's assembly process.
